Obtained Summary Judgment Dismissing Insured’s Action for Indemnification under Title Policy

Tom Sherwood, Jim Truitt, and Amy Abbandondelo successfully moved for summary judgment on the grounds that the insured lender’s misconduct caused his own loss and the fact that the insured mortgage did not secure any indebtedness because the promissory note had been previously avoided, resulting in the dismissal of insured’s action against title insurer seeking indemnification under title policy.
