Obtained Vacatur of Monetary Judgment Entered Against Our Client

Robyn Fearon successfully vacated a money judgment that was improperly entered in favor of a landlord upon our client’s default in a landlord/tenant proceeding.  The money judgment arose from a settlement agreement executed by a third party who claimed authority to bind our client.  Robyn demonstrated that our client did not consent to the settlement agreement and that the signatory lacked authority to bind our client.  As a result, the judgment against our client was reduced by more than 90%, to reflect the amount claimed in the petition.
